Thunder Bay – Stop Work Orders At Waterfront Hotel Project

Labour ministry issued orders at waterfront hotel project

Ministry requested appointment of “a competent supervisor”

The Ontario Ministry of Labour recently issued dozens of orders to two contractors and the owner of the property where a new hotel is being built on the city’s waterfront.

All but two of the orders have been carried out, and only one of the orders temporarily halted construction in one area of the project.

Lots of safety issues.  Always wonder about contractors that allows his/her employees to work in unsafe conditions.
Ministry requested appointment of “a competent supervisor”
Interesting….that means that the owner, TB Properties LP,  does not have a competent supervisor on site?

Who owns BNL Marina Inc. ? Must be Mansfield in disguise. No information to be found. why would the city trust them to build a project this size. Doesn’t make sense. Contractors need to be careful.
