“I’m actually proud of a prime minister that understands that you can believe that you didn’t have negative interactions with someone — I think we can think about this in all kinds of different situations — and find out later that someone perceived that interaction in a completely different way, and reflect on how our behaviour and the way that we make our way in the world impacts other people,” Hajdu told CBC Radio’s The House on Friday. – CBC News

Yes, Thunder Bay – Superior North MP, Patty Hajdu, the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour is defending a man who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman. Yes.
Why? Could it be that the man who she is defending gave her that job? Could it be that she is defending the leader of her political party? Could you imagine a situation where she would NOT defend the man that made her a Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour? I can’t.
Imagine what Patty Hajdu would be saying if the accused was a member of the Conservative Party? Leader of the Conservative Party? Patrick Brown? Doug Ford? Imagine what Patty Hadju would be saying if the accused was Donald Trump?
Liberal cabinet ministers, including Status of Women Minister Patty Hadju, have also been careful not to harshly criticize Trump, even in the wake of charges that he has groped and assaulted women. – Huffington Post
Hmmm….Publicly silent. I wonder what she was saying privately? I wonder if Hadju was proud of a Presidential candidate that understands that you can believe that you didn’t have negative interactions with someone — I think we can think about this in all kinds of different situations — and find out later that someone perceived that interaction in a completely different way, and reflect on how our behaviour and the way that we make our way in the world impacts other people. I am sure that Donald Trump did believe that none of the interactions with the women that were making those accusations were negative. Right? Pretty sure he said just that…dozens of times.
Sooo, the man’s denial is to be believed and the woman’s accusation is to be seen as a misinterpreted interaction? That each person perceived that interaction in a completely different way? Hmmm….well, of course. A rapist and his victim perceive that interaction in a completely different way as well. Rapist = Good , Victim = Bad. Sooo what does that mean? Because the accuser and the accused cannot agree on the “perceived negative interaction”, does that mean the assault did not take place? Is that all it takes?
Why does the “simply agree to disagree” argument not work for the dozens of men taken down by the #METOO movement over the passed year or two?
What did Justin Trudeau say about the accusations against Donald Trump during the 2016 Presidential election campaign?
“I think, however, I’ve been very, very clear in my approach as a feminist, as someone who has stood clearly and strongly all my life around issues of sexual harassment, standing against violence against women, that I don’t need to make any further comment at this time,” Trudeau said. – Huffington Post
Seems pretty clear to me. He is against men sexually assaulting women. I think everyone is against that.
I am sorry Ms Hajdu but you are completely full of shit and should turn in your vagina immediately. You have become a politician in every way…and that is not a compliment.
According to Trudeau and his fellow feminists everywhere, defending a man accused of sexual assault, no matter who that man is, is wrong. And to think, you were Minister of the Status of Women.
Justin Trudeau, if he had any honour at all, would resign as leader of the Federal Liberal Party immediately. I do not understand how he cannot do that? By not resigning immediately, he has branded himself as a hypocrite. We should listen to what he says and not what he does. Rules do not apply to him.
There is no way anyone can take the man seriously any longer. Feminist? Seriously?
Justin Trudeau is not my Prime Minister.
