This guy loves to get his/her photo taken

They get put back on and then get knocked off again. Wire broken this time.

What’s inside?  This is inside.

Our high rise waterfront.  Looks as ugly as sin. Superior by Nature indeed.

Every hotel in the city has to supply their own parking lot EXCEPT the Delta by Marriott waterfront hotel. The City of Thunder Bay not only gave the land to the developer at a bargain basement price, but also builds and maintains a parking lot for the hotel.  A parking lot located right in the heart of the Prince Arthur’s Landing development.  The parking lot is supplied at no cost to the hotel.  The taxpayers will clear it of snow in the winter.  All at no cost to the hotel.  City of Thunder Bay taxpayers are SOOOO generous.

The valet parking lot at the Pearl Street entrance you say?  The hotel is leasing that? Sure, but its empty. You think hotel customer is going to park waaaay over there if they can simply park right in front of the building? Its thunder Bay we are talking about.  people won’t even get out of the cars to buy a cup of coffee.

Of course, with the parking lot full of hotel customers, there is no space for Baggage Building (CPR Freight Office) parking.

Now you end up with this situation. Vehicle lined up all the way to the trains station waiting to pick up their kids.

Parked right on the pedestrian crosswalk.

Parked right up against the pedestrian crosswalk.

Nice view. Too bad it wreaks of urine.

Bag is still there.

Trash in context. A cap from a one litre tetrapack of Kelly’s finest rotgut

They are everywhere.

Could not carry this to the trash can.

A Thunder Bay hero riding her bicycle in the bike lane where it belongs.

This hero is riding his bicycle on the street where it belongs.

Hahahahaha. Bicycle riders do not yield to anyone.  They will not slow down. They will simply ride on the sidewalk.

A while back I speculated you have photographed and identified at least 20 bird species…

I bet it is over 30, and even possibly over 40 different types…

    Well done.

    Have you kept count?

You say you are not a birder, yet you are able to identify them, or at least take the time to look them up.

I wonder if the local birders are aware of your website? It would be quite the resource….
