The first story is on vaccines and autism. Is there a link? In some children, the answer seems to be ‘yes’. It makes complete sense that some children may react negatively to some vaccines.
Worth a view.

There is zero scientifically backed proof of ANY link between vaccination, and autism.
The one study this insane hysteria is based upon, was completely debunked, and the former doctor who promoted has lost his license to practice.
“..Typically, the M.M.R. shot is given to infants at about 12 months and again at age 5 or 6. This doctor, Andrew Wakefield, wrote that his study of 12 children showed that the three vaccines taken together could alter immune systems, causing intestinal woes that then reach, and damage, the brain. In fairly short order, his findings were widely rejected as — not to put too fine a point on it — bunk. Dozens of epidemiological studies found no merit to his work, which was based on a tiny sample. The British Medical Journal went so far as to call his research “fraudulent.” The British journal Lancet, which originally published Dr. Wakefield’s paper, retracted it. The British medical authorities stripped him of his license….”
There is no long term harm to being vaccinated, but there is provable harm to getting measles from not being vaccinated.
Some people have apparently wanted to reduce it perhaps wanting a “choice”..
But it is THE LAW in Ontario to be vaccinated:
However, if all laws are “choices” then maybe some people want to park where they want (as a matter of “choice”), perhaps some people want to ride their bicycle where they want (as a matter of “choice”), perhaps some people want to litter and drop their trash or doggy “bags” where they want (as a matter of “choice”).
Its’ simple, isn’t it? Some people want to choose not to vaccinate their children (even though 100% of those people are vaccinated), and some people want to park in no parking zones. Its’ all the same, right?
Perhaps we should all be allowed to pick and choose what laws to obey? No?
Either that of obey and respect all laws, or allow choice in all laws.
There is no study to prove that some vaccines do not cause autism in some children either.
The law allows for valid exemptions. One such reason for exemption is that the vaccine may cause harm to the child.
The problem is that nobody is trying to identify the reason that some children become autistic after being given a certain vaccine. It may not be the measles vaccine as it has been tested more than others. But there is something.
Vaccines need to be treated like every other drug. They need to be rigorously tested and people injected with vaccines need to be monitored for for side effects their entire lives. That is the only way we can know for sure.
“…There is no study to prove that some vaccines do not cause autism in some children either….”
That is because logic, and scientific process DEMANDS that those making a claim PROVE it, not the other way around.
As is often quoted, you cannot disprove a negative.
“….The problem is that nobody is trying to identify the reason that some children become autistic after being given a certain vaccine….”
There are no studies trying to find unicorns either, because they do not exist.
If I claim that my neighbor “Bob” is a Martian, it is up to me to prove it, not the other way around.
“….Vaccines need to be treated like every other drug. They need to be rigorously tested and people injected with vaccines need to be monitored for for side effects their entire lives….”
You mean like they have been tested for 100 years?
Case closed, please stop posting this dangerous bile from conspiracy theorists. Fortunately the LAW is now taking charge and people who have not been vaccinated are getting them.
People don’t “become autistic”, they are born autistic, and anecdotal evidence should be taken with a grain of salt. Vaccines save lives and the amount of vaccine reactions compared to the mass amount of people they protect is undeniable. Even if vaccines did cause autism (they don’t) I’d MUCH rather my child have autism than any vaccine preventable disease out there. I can’t believe there are people who would pick death or disfigurement over autism.
I have never heard anyone say that children are born with autism before. You can point me to a study that confirms this?
The underlying cause of autism is always there, it becomes apparent when the child reaches 1 – 3 years of age.
It is like women who carry the breast cancer gene, they are likely to get it at 40 – 50 years of age, not as a pre – pubescent girl.
It’s been a bullying shamefest from the outset; do-gooder keyboard couch scientists bashing anti-vaxxers with whatever verbal diarrhea assuages their irrational fears, even if it’s 100% big-pharma propoganda regurgitated, or just the old pull it out of your arse routine. It’d be like if 98% of the people bashed those at the start of the anti-smoking movement, because the tobacco companies produced their own science that 4 out of 5 smoking idiots could swore by, a willful ignorance that was with them, till death did they part.
Pro-Vaccination has become another prejudicial crusading religion, with ill-informed determined to force everyone that thinks just a little differently to believe a pack of lies, ultimately to everyones detriment. Scary.
One Phase III goal is to assess vaccine safety in a large group of people. Certain rare side effects might not surface in the smaller groups of subjects tested in earlier phases. For example, suppose that an adverse event related to a candidate vaccine might occur in 1 of every 10,000 people. To detect a significant difference for a low-frequency event, the trial would have to include 60,000 subjects, half of them in the control, or no vaccine, group (Plotkin SA et al. Vaccines, 5th ed. Philadelphia: Saunders, 2008).
and how long does this phase last? One year? Two years? Five years? One week? It does not say.
VAERS is a voluntary reporting system. Anyone, such as a parent, a health care provider, or friend of the patient, who suspects an association between a vaccination and an adverse event may report that event and information about it to VAERS.
Useless information. Unless its mandatory for doctors to submit ALL health issues for vaccinated children, then the information is no use at all.
The testing phase is short. It is done by the pharmaceutical companies themselves. Results are suspect. When billions of dollars are on the line, test results can be and are “adjusted” to make sure that the vaccine gets to market. Its all about the money. I do not trust Big Pharma and neither should anyone.
Still no large independent study I see. Where is it? There is none. That is my point. There is no study showing that some vaccines do not cause autism in some children. All you have produced is Big Pharma propaganda.
1. “…The testing phase is short. It is done by the pharmaceutical companies themselves. Results are suspect….”
Says who? Are you a scientist? These papers have to past review, and peer observed challenges. Are you qualified to dispute them?
2. “… I do not trust Big Pharma …”
Define “big” pharma. Quantify it. And besides, WHY do you distrust it? Provide valid, rational reasons. “just because” is not an answer.
3. “…Still no large independent study I see. Where is it?…”
See my point on scientific process. And you are correct there are NO studies that link autism to vaccines. None, Zero. Has not happened.
4. “….There is no study showing that some vaccines do not cause autism in some children. …”
How many times do we have to repeat – you cannot disprove a negative. You cannot disprove a negative. You cannot disprove a negative. No scientist would ever pursue something from that angle. No one would ever fund it. And even if it were done for free – as a doctoral thesis, no student, professor or school would ever advise anyone to start with a negative premise.
5. All of my posts are from independent sources, not “Big Pharma”.
The fact is “autismspeaks.ORG is a non – profit,as even its’ domain name HINT – DOT ORG points to this.
Here is my claim of the day: I was born, raised, and am posting from the planet Mercury.
Please disprove this statement, because according to you, the burden is not on me to back up my claim, but for you to somehow disprove it..
I appreciate the fact you publish posts with facts that counter your opinions, but I have to ask, do you actually read, understand, and then contemplate what is in them?
watch the video in this previous post. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. uses facts in his presentation.
1. Kennedy’s family is now disowning his beliefs and calling them wrong:
There are other articles in the NYT, etc., sorry I could not find a wing – nut on RT saying this, but I will have to rely on the truth.
2. Rates of Diagnosed Autism have been rising only since the year 2000. The MMR vaccine has been in wide use since 1971.
(as an anecdotal side note, when I went to school, there was no ‘special ed” etc. If you talk to any teacher today, a high percentage of kids are ‘special needs’ , on a variety of mood drugs, etc. All of this is owing to increased ability to diagnose. 120 years ago, 90% of people died of “consumption”. A disease that barely exists, if at all….Today? No one dies of consumption. Why? better diagnosis – or are you going to say this is a “big pharma” plot?)
There is no causation effect.
Can we move on to a discussion on whether or not the world is flat? (any if you can’t answer any of my questions, please don’t ask me to watch an opinion piece from a celebrity…well, at least you are not using Jenny McCarthy)
Uh Oh, Jake said “Case Closed” after his latest propoganda link spam attack, and then he said anyone who continues the discussion, must be a flat earther, and then took a nasty swipe at Jenny McCarthy, because, BOOBS. I guess that settles it. Jake will always & forever get the last word in any discussion he is 100% wrong in & we all must bow to his great cyber debate prowess!!! All Hail Jakey Grits, king of the fake internet mic drops!
Yes, you can prove a negative when it comes to vaccines. In fact, you claim all the testing of vaccines by the pharmaceutical companies does just that. What I am saying is tests done by the companies that benefit by the vaccine tests not finding any major side effects means nothing. Not when there is billions of dollars in profits on the line.
Why is there no long term study of vaccinated children versus non-vaccinated children? Easy to do. For some reason, a test like this does not exist. Why not? VAERS would do that but its voluntary. Why is it voluntary?
We are pumping a lot of chemicals into our children. Does that have any effect? Are we testing for vaccine combinations? No.
Did you watch the video?
He will not watch the video, but it matters not, it appears he does not have the ability to learn and just comes here to get try to push people around hoping they’ll grow as ignorant as is he.
Total Lost Cause.
This “BINGO” comment should have gone to the post by “tbaychick”, NOT “specialRFK”
TBAYCHICK’s comment makes eminent sense, SpecialRFK’s comment makes zero sense.
You need to get a life, you are really annoying, and no-one is listening to what you have to say but you. Do you spend all day trying to impress yourself in front of a mirror? Do you try to get in a woman’s uterus and tell how what she should do reproductively? You have no right to tell anyone what to do with their children just because you will never have any other than yourself.
“I don’t know what happened, he has so much education, but he’s still such an annoying moron.”
Want to guess how often people say that about you? Naaa, you already know & revel in the disdain your assholery inspires.
