JFK noted that “timing is everything in politics and art.” I would say that timing is eveything – period.

Going into a round of open houses over the multiplex, it would certainly have been very uncomfortable for the city had there been no further (positive) news from the waterfront. Mr. Bova arrived in time to say the hotelier would be announced in September, so all was well at Prince Arthurs Landing. Of course, that could only happen if the hoteliers minimal standards were met. That means as I understand it, a previously denied variance would have to be approved. So, no variance, no hotelier? It is for me an uncomfortable message.

    But a timely one.
