Latest park-wherever-you-want at Prince Arthur’s Landing. As you can see these two vehicles are parked at the foot of the walkway that leads to the pedestrian overpass.
These two parked vehicles block the view of this intersection for southbound vehicles (left to right in photos) and, to a lesser extent, northbound vehicles (right to left in photos). Pedestrians entering PAL via the pedestrian overpass may not be easily seen by the drivers of those vehicles.
If that is not bad enough, the car is also parked facing the wrong direction, making re-entering traffic tricky due to poor driver visibility.
Can a pedestrian be hit by a vehicle at this location? Of course! Does anyone care? Of course…not! Still, I am going to point it out.
I believe that is area should be used specifically for people drop-offs only. No parking. But then what do I know?
