Weather has been cold so I have not taken many photos since I got back. However, I have taken some. Nothing really earth shattering. I have discovered that my camera can take panorama photos so, I spent some time using that function.
Wilson Park rink. There used to be a heated building for people to put their skates on and go to warm up. Sadly, that building required staff on site. Budget cuts removed the staff and later, the building. Now you have to put your skates on in the freezing cold.
Another of those “Eye on the Street” signs.
The much hyped and much delayed Delta by Marriott Waterfront Hotel’s valet parking lot has no plug-ins. Cars left by the high-rolling hotel patrons that find themselves here in Thunder Bay during the winter will not be able to have their vehicles plugged in. No block heater.
I am surprised that outlets were not installed.
Four star hotel and all….
I was going to mention this but it looks like city staff beat me to it. There was no way for people to get over the windrow of snow. They would have to walk around to the boat launch area… a fair distance for some people. This is good.
Pier 3…closed off to pedestrians 8 months a year. That is 75% of the year.
Ahhh..the pedestrian overpass. One of my favourite places for photos. It rarely lets me down.
Yes…mouthwash. The place stunk of mouthwash sooo somebody has just had a shot or two. I saw two people hanging around this spot. I was not going to walk through the overpass because of their presence but they left. The thing looks almost frozen.
Sigh…quite the mess.
I believe Friday was pizza day at the Dew Drop Inn. Free slices for anyone who shows up.
Looks like these people did not like the free slices they were given
Waste of food.
I’m surprised you don’t see more empty bottles of this brand of wine around Thunder Bay. Its very cheap and is 20% alc/vol. $1.50 less a bottle than Kelly’s wine with the same alc/vol. Must be the taste.
Camera at the corner of Court Street and Red River Road.
First shopping carts and now baskets.
