People are grabbing/touching/fiddling-with their masks all the time without washing their hand afterwards. Then they touch other things. I don’t see how this is a positive thing. I do not see a single person wearing gloves.
What you now have is an entire population doing that. Back in March, this is the exact situation we were trying to avoid. Now this behaviour is mandatory. Is it surprizing that people are confused and angry?
I imagine that the benefit of wearing a mask to protect people from aerosol spray is negated by the increase spread on public surfaces. No?
I will wear a mask when shopping to help business owners who have to enforce this. Make their life easier. They are caught in the middle of this thing through no fault of their own.
But does wearing a mask make a real difference? Nobody knows for sure.
