A severe frost heave on Algoma Street in front of the Italian Cultural Centre. The section of Algoma Street that was reconstructed five and a half years ago.
Something under the asphalt is holding moisture. Clay? Organic material? Anyway, that moisture freezes and expands.
I rode the bus today as it went over that heave and I kid you not…I was airborne. My but actually left the seat. It is brutal.
