In the last couple of days, 1778691 Ontario Inc. has reputedly held a meeting with everyone who had inquired about the waterfront condo’s.
The sales process is starting now. Planned start of construction is December 2012. Of course we are talking about a company that moves deadlines all the time.
The cost per sq. ft. is in the range of $300. This with an average size said to be around 1,200 sq. ft. puts the average price at $360,000.
The interior finishes are rather ordinary , middling actually. Something you might find in a Home Depot showroom. Laminate floors, carpet in bedrooms, islands in the kitchen . First building will be located next to the Pearl Street entrance. the condo fees said to be $380/month but will actual likely be much higher.
Allure? Each floor seems to be named eg. Allure Desire
Each floor’s suites appear to have slightly different floor plans than other floors.
View? Each suite is named by location eg. Bay View is right out front, Tide View in back facing north. Cove View, Brook View back facing south, Lake View. Breeze View
Numbers -7 suites per floor
Suite 1 – in front 1467 sq ft 2 bedroom
Suite 2 – south side 1307 sq ft 2 bedroom
Suite 3 – south side 1290 sq ft 2 bederoom
Suite 4 – south side 1116 sq ft 1 bedroom
Suite 5 – south side back 1264 sq ft 1 bedroom
Suite 6 – north side 1198 sq ft 2 bedroom

Get your deposits ready. Personally, I wouldn’t trust that company one bit. My opinion but I believe it to be based on passed actions/statements. A skunk can’t change its stripes.
