I had this happening a month and a half ago when I mistook additional charges for murder number two as a new murder. Its hard to keep track, with the court system so slow and all.
Got this one in under the wire. Eleven murders is a record that will be hard to beat. Winnipeg, Edmonton..eat your heart out.

THUNDER BAY — Police have identified those invovled in the city’s 11th murder case of the year.
The body 62-year-old Richard Spence was found inside a Secord Street residence early Sunday morning and his cousin, 45-year-old Monica Spence, has been charged with second degree murder.
“Police received a 911 call from a family member who was called there upon a friend arriving at the residence and locating this male who was deceased at the time,” police spokeswoman Const. Julie Tilbury said.
“In the initial stages of this investigation we can positively say alcohol was a factor in this incident.”
An autopsy is being conducted on the victim in Toronto Monday and the cause of death continues to be withheld.
Officers responded to the apartment building at the corner of Secord and Ambrose Streets at about 2 a.m. Sunday morning, where they found the victim.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Branch arrested Monica Spence later that afternoon.

The scene is still being held by police at least until the autopsy results are released. A Crime Scene Unit vehicle was present outside the building Monday morning.
