Thunder Bay – Friday The 13th

When the sewer and water infrastructure was replaced on this street, curb, gutter and sidewalks were also replaced.  For some reason, a decision was made not to extend the new sidewalk all the way to the curb.  Looks like the sidewalk plow dis not get the memo.

Trash in context.  Condoms add some much needed colour to the brown landscape.

Never far from a discarded Tim’s cup.

I have seen people stop and read this. Its located on the path around the Spirit Garden (Wilson Street Headland).  The ‘Healing Garden’ lasted one summer. After that, it was neglected and allowed to be overgrown.  Nothing new in Marina Park.  Neglect runs rampant in this park.

Looks like this bag may contain a loaf of bread?

Yellow bag food handouts have oranges in them.  Noticing lots of orange peels around.

Sidewalk plow clipped this gas valve cover. It will soon fill with dirt and other debris. It will become useless. Such is the life of a valve in this city.

Looking at the painted rocks that were left behind at the Waverley Park cenotaph.
