The City of Thunder Bay has finally decided to fix the Van Horne fountain. Took eight days. What I have noticed of late is that the crews leave the backhoe running while they go off for lunch. I can understand if the temp was -40C but lately its been warm enough that those machines can be turned off for an hour. But then who cares?
Mariner’s Hall closed to the public again on Tuesday evening. Interesting. Maybe the City needs to move the Maritime display into a building it actually owns.
Why can condos be built in the coldest of weather while the City of Thunder Bay cannot erect something as simple as a bus shelter?
Its not rocket science. The concrete pads are already there. I just do not understand.
Then there is the pond hockey ice surface at Marina Park
Some vehicle is tracking the brown crud (snow, sand and salt) onto the ice. Who wants to skate on that?
