Work on the DSSAB apartment complex at the corner of Cumberland and Water Streets continues.
Hmmm….a large group of loiters hanging out inside the pedestrian overpass.
MV John D. Leitch leaving Thunder Bay. It has an odd forward located wheelhouse. I remember seeing this ship during my four summers working on lake freighters many decades ago. Back then, it was the MV Canadian Century
Looks like someone was pulling donuts in the new parking lot located at the south end of Marina Park.
Two ships passing in the… day.
Noticed these rays of sunshine off in the distance.
Looks pretty bleak. Nice colouring though.
Looks like the MV Thunder Bay has a serious scrape on the hull. A daily occurrence now. Nowhere else to go in Thunder Bay?
Remember these?
The Pier 3 half of the $ 1million waterfront art piece. The lights look like they are on. Are they on all day and night?
Not a huge crowd using the fountain rink.
I have said this before and I will say it again….This is not the place to be parking any vehicle let alone a large truck.
The truck is blocking visibility of vehicles trying to negotiate the intersection. It creates a dangerous situation for both vehicles and pedestrians. Sadly, this situation can be found all over the city. No enforcement.
Who designed this park anyway? The City of Thunder Bay should be demanding a refund.
Thunder Bay’s $70 million plus waterfront development…public consumption of alcohol is allowed. Illegal parking is allowed. Vandalism is allowed. Bring on the tourists!
A birch bark canoe? Some sort of sailing craft? I wonder how did it get there?
LCBO bag tracks.
