Some recent photos of the tiles installed at Prince Arthur’s Landing. I have more but these show some of the damage that has occurred over just TWO winters.
Lord only knows what this place is going to look like in 5, 10 or 20 years.
I believe the choice of material here was not well thought out. Either that or our Parks Department headed by Paul Fayrick is not up to the task of running such a facility.

OK, you might be saying, its winter and winter is tough. True and I am sure that even the management team of the City of Thunder Bay understands winter.
This is Bay Street and these tiles have been around for quite a few years. More than two for sure. They look to be in good shape. Better than those at Prince Arthur’s Landing for sure.
