Thunder Bay – Sunday

The giant bird feeder is getting bigger.  I wonder how long this will be here before the home owner decides to pick the stuff up?  Rats like this stuff. I will keep you posted.

Be nice if someone graded the road to Pool 6 sometime.  The contractor working on the street extension at the south end of Marina Park uses this road so maybe the contractor is responsible for road maintenance.

A female Goldeneye that appears to have made the Pool 6 pond her home.

That eye which does not seem to blink is unnerving.

Red-winged Blackbird giving a pair of crows hell.

Tree Swallows are now in nesting mode.  Pretty soon, babies will be sticking their heads out of the entry hole.

Might continue in this direction (south) one day, but not in my lifetime.

The shoulder on the inside of a curve is prone to erosion.  Some treatment is in order.

The water valve at the edge of the shoulder.  Stupid location.

Be nice if the Gathering/Celebration Circle that is used almost exclusively for weddings had some grass in the centre of the circle instead of dirt.  Just a thought.

Very cool looking cone.

More Monarch photos. Two days in a row. Might be a good year for butterflies.

Marina sludge. Tree pollen mixed with whatever else is floating around.

    “….Vodka and orange soda…..”

I wonder how that stacks up for nutrition, and taste compared to the Vodka and Tang Screwdrivers they serve in Montreal strip clubs? I guess it would depend on the mix proportions….
