Thunder Bay – Thunder Bay Sign On Waterfront

Ch’ng proposes Thunder Bay sign on waterfront

Northwood Coun.Shelby Ch’ng wants to take a page from Toronto’s tourism book and construct a sign spelling out Thunder Bay’s name on the Northern Ontario city’s waterfront.

Ch’ng plans to present a memorandum at Monday night’s city council meeting calling for the installation of the permanent word sign, similar to ones that can be found in communities around the world, including Ontario’s capital.
