I see the Liberal Party of Ontario have a new logo. Snazzy but, if I remember my early primary school classes, a gold star was always the best. Then red, then blue.
As for China’s human rights record, Ruberto said he only saw clean streets, a highly developed modern city and educated, polite people during the trip.
I wonder how much the workers got paid to keep those streets clean? Are their City Managers better than ours? We are paying a lot in taxes and our streets are still lined with garbage. Its possible that Chinese litterers are simply killed. Strong deterrent.
As for a highly developed modern city, I guess the province of Shandong is more generous to Jiaozhou, than the Province of Ontario is to Thunder Bay. If only those tight-fisted bastards at Queens Park would give us everything our City Admin wants, we too would be highly developed and modern city. Cheap Queens Park bastards!
Its interesting that the amount that can be invested from both countries is unlimited. Maybe someone can get a bunch of local business owners to invest in luxury beach front resort property in and around Jiaozhou Bay. I understand Communist governments welcome that kind of foreign investment. Any volunteers?
I see Jiaozhou has also developed their waterfront. Lets see….Ours cost at least $60 million. Theirs appears to be several times larger so….ummmm… it must have cost a two or three hundred million dollars? Maybe more?
And where is the splash pad? Is that it to the lower left? The red area? There is a crowd there. Maybe that is the splash pad. You can’t have a successful and modern waterfront without a splash pad. Can you?
