We agree with Resolute on this one — that two million hectares of forestland is enough to protect caribou. – Chronicle Journal Editorial May 23, 2013
Why spend a small fortune and a good chunk of your life getting a degree in whatever it is that you need to understand Woodland caribou habitat? Seems like a waste of time and money.
Evidently, being an editor of a small city newspaper provides a person with enough education and experience to know just how much forestland is enough for a sustainable caribou habitat.
Maybe there is someone at that newspaper working on a cure for cancer. Maybe someone in the sports department? Outdoor Life?
Understand this…once the habitat is gone, its gone forever. We need to be certain before we start cutting trees.
