Why does nobody care about what happens later? Once the crews leave, that is not the end of responsibility. Cars still have to drive over that gravel. people still have to walk over what passes as a sidewalk. People still have to walk cross the street.
People using the crosswalk are walking on what equates to ball bearings. Lucky them!
The asphalt on the sidewalk is better than nothing…..barely.
I don’t understand why City Admin requires the responsible departments to have someone check on these gravel areas daily. Even on the weekend! Make repairs. Sweep up the loose gravel. You know…maintain the construction zone (yes, they are construction zones) until it is covered with asphalt. Don’t just f*** off and leave us live with the mess. Its a matter of respect.
Then there is this
Somehow I think this is not supposed to be open.
City of Thunder Bay ADAMS BRAD Manager – Roads $111,067.06 $770.88
City of Thunder Bay MARSHALL KERRI Manager – Environment $111,651.94 $774.24
City of Thunder Bay MATSON DARRELL General Manager – Infrastructure & Operations $166,025.27 $1,150.92
The City of Thunder Bay has dozens of vehicles driving passed these areas every day. Even on weekends! Nobody seems to care.
Taxpayers need to start to expect more for their tax dollars. Demand more.
